What the program
asks of investors.
EB-5 is a U.S. immigration category for eligible investors. Requirements depend on the project and your individual circumstances.
How EB-5 worksQualifying investment
Current statutory minimums are generally $800,000 in a qualifying targeted employment area or infrastructure project, and $1,050,000 elsewhere. Confirm current amounts before acting.
Job creation
The investment must meet EB-5 job-creation requirements, generally at least 10 qualifying full-time jobs per investor.
At-risk capital
Capital must remain at risk under program rules. Neither immigration approval nor return of capital can be guaranteed.
